Faceless Dreams

I wonder if you have those sort of dreams, where you actually can't see a face of a person. Maybe someone is even headless. But still you know exactly who it is.
There's no "hard evidence" but you are absolutely sure it's this particular person.
I reckon there are some things in life that work the same: you can't explain them to others but you KNOW them. You just know.

I do!

About 2 years ago I got a message on YouTube about Austrian German from a young man called David. We stayed in contact ever since. He lives in Sydney, which may ring a bell for you, because I'm also in Sydney right now. Funnily enough Dave lives like 10 min away from my place. So we had to meet in "real life"!
After expressing my (almost ridiculous) passion for Australia to one of Dave's friends this situation (as shown in the picture) took place.
And I was not joking! I do picture myself in Australia in my future! I do that everyday!

If I was... a hairbrush

A hairy job... wouldn't want to be a brush...

Duck vs Goose

My auntie (63 years old) misstook our goose for a duck. Her answer was just epic!

German tourists invasion

If there's one really important thing to know about Germans it's: they are everywhere!
Germans surely like to travel which is a great thing. I love it too! But where ever you are - I guarantee you there is at least one German around, either travelling or someone who emigrated.
They truly are everywhere! (I've even heard Germans confirm it)
I think that's actually some kind of "top secret plan" to invade and finally reign the world! :)

If I was... a toilet brush

Those toilet brushes really have a "crap job". They deserve our respect and appreciation!

Zumba Zumba!

When I started going to the gym about 5/6 months ago I joined one of the Zumba classes which turned out to be one of the best ideas ever!
Not only is it a work out that is great fun, it also sort of takes me back to the time in Brazil! It reminds me of the Salsa nights every Sunday and makes me happy!
I tell you what: Zumba is absolutely awesome!

Perspiration

It's true... I think it's not a good work out if you don't sweat like a pig! (At least it makes you feel like you really worked out hard!)

Weather

I remember someone once said:
The weather isn't the problem - it's the way you dress.
But I think there's more to it.
Rain can really suck. We wanted to have a party at the beach just the other day but the rain forced us to change our plans. On the other hand all the plants were longing for some water for it was so bloody hot during the last 2 weeks.
I love sunny days but also running around in the rain. My sister and me even invented an own word for going out in the rain (or snow). We call it "pommeln".
I reckon it's just our attitude about the weather. Just make the best of it!

Dragons

I was walking through the house the other day when suddenly I saw this little guy. He was really small and soooo cute! I tried to pet him, but Otto was to fast for me :)
We left him alone 'cause we want him to live in our house with us. He's not annoying or so. Otto is basically 'just here'. I've only seen him once. My auntie saw him twice. He's a mystery like Loch Ness.
That was the story of how Otto became our house dragon.

Aussies And Their Sunnies - # 4

One thing I've noticed here in Oz is that (adult) men tend to have very feminine sun glasses. Some look terribly stupid, others just look gay. Even my cousin confirmed it to me (he doesn't have sunnies at all, so he's not one of those 'bogans', as he calls them).
I wonder what makes aussie men buy/wear those sunnies? I don't really understand it...
To be honest I think that really is the case (at least sometimes).
