I still remember the day when we went to Putney Park before shopping and I saw a big slide... 

I just couldn‘t find the English word for “Stoff“ (which by the way is ‘fabric‘). Because of the fabric of my shorts I couldn‘t go down the slide.

Since I‘ve been drawing a lot lately, always worrying about (more or less correct) anatomy of people and how you could bend and stretch it to get a comic character I thought I could do something more abstract for a change. 

I bought some canvas and just started. Quite relaxing I gotta say. It's gonna take some time until it's finished.

Water colour

Since I‘m not really used to water colours I thought I could give it a try some day. The worst thing is that I need thicker paper. The one I‘m using gets all wrinkled.

Drawing Mood

Lately I‘ve been in a real drawing mood. Not quite sure if it turned out to be all good but at least I can see it as a practice.

Also I‘ve been playing around with some sort of a ‘different style‘ of drawing women (now that sounds waaaaay more exciting than it actually is...).

Ginger

I know ginger is not that hot but eating all the ginger in one bite perhaps is a little bit too much. At least for me. So when that friend of mine ate all at once he had my full respect. Only when he asked “that was ginger?“ I realised it probably was his first time having sushi.

Everyone thinks I‘m joking when I say I don‘t drink coffee. A few years ago I drank so much I guess you could say I was almost addicted. Still my gran asks me every day if I wanted a cup of coffee. 

Sushi Cat Walk

A few friends of mine and me have been talking about having ‘running sushi‘ together. (I think you actually call it ‘sushi train‘ in English?) Since those friends were on holidays for a few days I made a little card to welcome them home. 

Hopefully we‘ll soon find ourselves eating sushi at some nice restaurant. 

Room Decoration

I already have quite a few pictures and canvas in my room but there is still space for some more. 

Currently I‘m working on a drawing in landscape format (about 81 x 30 cm). I‘m basically just putting some sketches together. Not quite sure if I like the outcome... I may have to do another one.
