How to get a pseudonym even if you are not famous yet.
This story really happened to me someday between the 23rd and 28th of September 2009.
I was in Salvador (Brazil) with a friend of mine and we went to the “Bohemia Music Bar“.
Before we could get in we had to tell our names and identify ourselves with an ID card or whatever. I showed my passport which kind of confused the woman at the entrance. She didn‘t ask for my name for she could just copy it from my passport. I didn‘t really see which two words she wrote down in the “name box“ but it was definitely not my name.

She returned the passport and then we could enter. I was very curious and put out the passport when we were on the dancefloor.
My friend recognised the two words that the woman thought were my names.
>> Linz Österreich
Linz is my place of birth and Österreich is “Austria“ in German. (That makes me “Miss Austria“, according to a friend of mine)
The weird thing is, that you can read on the passport – in 3 languages – what each word and number means. I really don‘t know why this woman couldn‘t find out what my real name was. Or why she didn‘t just ask?
But... never mind! This story really made my day/night!
If I‘ll ever get famous my pseudonym will definitely be “Linz Österreich/Austria“.
