Dressed for winter

I prefer hot weather. The only place I like it cold is in my room when I‘m curling up in my warm and cosy bed. So I try to wear summer clothes as long as possible. Usually I almost freeze to death before I eventually get out my winter clothes. But it seems I just can‘t get it right. 

Either I‘m not wearing enough or I‘m wearing too much. 

Either I‘m freezing or I‘m melting away like a snowman in summer. 

See... if I lived in a hot country – preferably Australia of course – I wouldn‘t have to deal with such problems.

Grow old

My grandparents told me to have a certain goal for life so you know at least in which direction you‘re heading. 

My plan is to study Graphic Design, get my degree, work as a graphic designer (how obvious), etc 

If that doesn‘t work out and I have to change plans – no worries. That‘s ok. 

But there‘s one thing I‘m absolutely sure about: I will live in Australia one day. I will grow old there. And I will die there.

I still don‘t know what sort of book she was actually asking for.

Wish I knew the lyrics to the song. I so would have sung along (about the dancing I‘m not so sure though). 

Cover up

I live in a student housing. It‘s a bit dodgy (well... it‘s not exactly a new building) but I think that‘s why it‘s so awesome! 

There is this ,glass shelf‘. The thing with glass is – as we all know – you can see through it. But since my toiletries are in there I don‘t really want everybody to see them. So I made some sort of a ,cover‘. 

It‘s not exactly perfect or especially beautiful but it makes people smile as soon as they enter my little kingdom. :)

Vegetarian

Someone has to educate these kids... :)

Train Rule

Nothing is more annoying than someone talking on the phone on a train; in the worst case discussing private issues aloud. 

Don‘t do that! It‘s like an unwritten law.

My suggestion: 

Every phone call is limited to a maximum of 30 sec. That‘s enough time to tell your mom where and when to pick you up.

Marriage

There‘s still a chance I get married... some day... maybe... who knows (to whom)...

(True) Blood

Ever noticed the redish-brownish little paws of (some) white West Highland Terriers? 

I can‘t help but think it‘s blood. I know it‘s not – but I think it looks as if this cute, little dog has been walking around so much its paws started bleeding...

Success

The professor told us the solution to one of the exercises which – apparently – made one of the students so happy, that she really (!) shouted „YESSSSS!!“ across the hall, where by the way about 400–500 fellow students were sitting and not long after the outburst not only sitting but laughing (including me). 

That made my day!

Besties

I visited my cousin last weekend and we had a great time; talking ourselves to sleep every night, like we used to back in the ‘good ol‘ days‘, having a late brekkie each day, etc 

She introduced me to some of her friends, which was reason enough to make a few new scribbles and sketches.

Secret 'supporter'?

Imagine you are telling something funny that happened to you and the other person stops you by saying: „I know. I read it on Facebook.“ That sucks. 

Well... it‘s kind of the same when they say: „I know. I saw your comic.“ Still funny, I reckon :D

Must be some sort of a ‘secret fan‘ if he‘s reading my blog (even though I didn‘t show it to him). Win for me, I guess.

Sometimes it's scary how much we rely on our phones, computer, etc.
